One Day Dementia Awareness Courses
This is a practical skills based course
that will benefit any staff in a caring role, particularly new
starters or those with no previous training in dementia.
The one day course develops an
understanding of the causes and consequences of dementia, and the
effect and process of dementia on the individual. It
identifies and demonstrates how to respond to behaviour that
challenges and explores how person-centred care can support a person
with dementia. |
